New #TolkienCollection Photo Challenge Demands Costume Change

We love seeing the photos that you share on social media with the #TolkienCollection hashtag, but we’re always eager to see more. Every week, we give out new photo challenges so you can share new perspectives on your favorite items!

Since it’s getting close to Halloween, and since we love seeing Tolkien-inspired costumes, that got us thinking. We decided that the theme from now until Sunday, November 1 is Costume Change.

Here are some ideas:

  • Show your Tolkien-inspired Halloween costume! Don’t celebrate Halloween in your country? Show us a costume you made anyway!
  • Maybe dressing up isn’t your thing…but that doesn’t mean you can’t dress up your pets, your home, or your action figures to resemble something from Middle-earth!
  • We love seeing Tolkien books (hopefully that is evident on our website and our social pages). Why not show us pictures of your gorgeous hardcover Tolkien books with their dust jackets and without?

Last week’s theme was Home Sweet Home, and we got some great photos from those who accepted our challenge! You can see them all together below or you could go back through last week’s #TolkienCollection posts to see them and all the other photos shared last week.
