Remember The Good Times With Our New #TolkienCollection Photo Challenge!

We love seeing the photos that you share on social media with the #TolkienCollection hashtag, but we’re always eager to see more. Every week, we give out new photo challenges so you can share new perspectives on your favorite items!

The theme for the week of August 17, 2015 is Nostalgia. We want you to take a trip down memory lane and show us something from your Tolkien collection that makes you fondly remember an earlier time in your history with Tolkien.

Here are some ideas:

  • You could show us a copy of the first Tolkien book that you read from (or had read to you)!
  • Why not snap a picture of your movie ticket stubs from when you first saw The Lord of the Rings in the cinema?
  • Take this challenge to the max and dig out some old toys, VHS or cassette tapes, or records that you don’t use anymore and share your memories with us!

Last week’s theme was Closeup, and we got so many great photos from those who accepted our challenge! In fact, we couldn’t fit all of the photos into one collage, so if you want to get a closer look, you could go through last week’s #TolkienCollection posts to see them and all the other photos shared last week. We’ve made it easy for you and put all the links under the collage.
