Yesterday we got our fair share of miniatures–@Rainearthimbue showed us some tiny figures while @djy1935 shot some closeups of tiny Middle-earth environments! We also got to see plenty of books, and if you’re ready for another language lesson, we’ll give you the rundown:
@cemilegizem taught us some words beginning with “H” from a French to elvish dictionary. Now we know winter (hiver), man (homme), and most importantly, Hobbit in more languages!
It’s not the first time we’ve seen “In de Ban van de Ring,” but since @invisibledrag0n just picked up another copy, it’s a good time to remind ourselves of the Dutch title of Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings.
@mr_bliss_presents gave us a glimpse of Adamant Henny, the third book in the Pierścień mroku (“Ring of Darkness”) trilogy by Nik Pierumow that takes place after the events of the War of the Ring.
@melindinaaa helps us remember a bit of Italian with Il cacciatore di draghi (“Farmer Giles of Ham”) and Lo Hobbit.
Don’t forget that this week’s #TolkienCollection photo challenge is Closeup. Remember to use the hashtag #TolkienCollection or #CollectAThing so we can share your photos in our daily post or tag us @CollectTolkien on Twitter and @CollectAThing on Instagram!
