#TolkienCollection Photo Challenge and Giveaway!

As we promised in yesterday’s post, today we’re announcing a giveaway!

We love seeing the photos that you share on social media with the #TolkienCollection hashtag, but we’re always eager to see more. Starting today, we want to start issuing weekly challenges so that you have an excuse to share more photos of your Tolkien collections. As this is the inaugural week, we thought it would be only fair to offer a giveaway!

This week’s challenge will be Tribute to The Two Towers. What we want you to do is share photos of pieces of your collection that center around the theme of The Two Towers, the second book of The Lord of the Rings. You could share photos of your own copy of the book, you could use your action figures to create a scene from the film, or you could show us the gaping hole in your collection where a new copy of The Two Towers would go if you won!

Get creative–you have all week! We’ll choose the winner on Sunday night and announce it Monday morning when we issue the next challenge.

Remember to use the #TolkienCollection hashtag so that we can find your entry, or even better, tag us in your post. You can find us on Twitter and Facebook!

The Prize

In our tireless search for Tolkien books and collectibles, we found the edition of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers that you see below. It’s it great condition, and since we’re all collectors here, we hope you don’t mind that it has been (gently) used. Be sure to scroll down to see the copyright information to see if it’s something you have to have for your Tolkien collection.
